F.A.Q. Joan Baker Designs
1. How do you clean a sun catcher? Spray any glass-cleaning product onto a small cloth. Gently wipe painted side with the cloth, if necessary. Usually, fingerprints, dust, etc only show up on the unpainted side. That side may be directly sprayed and cleaned like any other glass.
2. Will it fade? If your hand-painted art glass is placed in a window that gets indirect light, such as a window with an eave covering or morning light, it will last for many years. JBD's paint formula uses the most faded resistant pigments available in the world. However, just like your car or your carpet, it will not withstand very hot, all day direct sun over prolonged periods. For this reason, we suggest to customers that they display their art glass piece in a window that gets bright, but not direct sun. |
